I’ve mentioned many times here on Vixen Games that hotwives come in many varieties, and so do their husbands. One thing that is almost universal though is that to the husband of a hotwife, his wife is his porn star. The husband of a Hotwife, whether in a Vixen and Stag type situation or not almost always puts his wife in the center of his fantasies. In some scenarios, it is purely an imagination type of thing. In other cases, it is a mental replacement scenario that involves watching porn of a type they enjoy and replacing the star of the action they are watching with their own wife mentally. Their wife is what turns them on, so the actress in the scene is basically a sort of avatar of their wife for their mental enjoyment.

Then of course there are those that actually film and photo the real actions of their hotwives. This is extremely common and for many a big part of what they do. Often that is all they do. They watch and record their wives. The photos and videos are to be enjoyed later and can be viewed whenever the Stag wishes. No longer a fantasy, they can truly say “My wife is my pornstar.”

Not all hotwives allow recording or photos. Some don’t even let their husbands watch them. Mutual fulfillment still happens. The hotwife has physical sex, the husband has the imagination of her actions. For myself, who is very visual, I find the idea unappealing, but to those who play in that way, it is often best. It is my belief, but I have no proof except my own experience and that of reading other people’s stories online in forums and the like, that often that mental projection of the wife into porn scenes is a big precursor to deciding to go down the hotwifing road. Note I said “often” rather than usually. My personal experiences and past have given me insight as to other often traveled paths to hotwife lifestyles as well.
In general though, the act of watching porn and imagining the wife as the star is a common one for those who find their wives to be extremely sexy. It makes sense that if a man thinks his wife is the most beautiful of all women, then mentally replacing the actress in a video or photo with his mind’s eye vision of his wife would only make the picture he sees seem hotter.
Do that enough times and it becomes more of a desire than just a fantasy. It builds up, and it seems like it would be hotter in real life.

It takes two to tango though. That is how the male can get hooked just off mentally making his wife his porn star. If he goes to his wife with this scenario and has had an otherwise vanilla relationship, he’ll most likely be met with confusion, possibly with anger for having developed such notions without having brought it forth before. In my mind, such a situation is a big red flag. Communication has proven itself to be not sufficient to carry forward into the world of hotwifing.

In my case personally, it was mutual talk that started with “What if….?” type questions, and with answers that seemed pretty hot and sexy to us both. My adult media was very limited to specific niches, and I had already been visually replacing the star with my much more desirable girl to make it more arousing. Those niches were not something I’d ever considered as being something to bring into the real world. It was just entertainment. Our talks and ideas led me to look things up though. I ended up expanding my collection of themes that turned me on. I found new niches that fit things she’d say. For some that is the best place to keep it, but for others, being able to have those movies and pictures in real life is a superb treat.
